     Mae Fah Luang University invites persons with the following qualifications to fill our vacant academic posts.

  1. General Qualifications The applicant must/will:
    • Understand and acknowledge the university’s professional philosophy as a public autonomous institution, and be able to teach in the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels;
    • Be able to impart knowledge and ready to supervise graduate-level theses and doctoral dissertations;
    • Be ready to conduct research work immediately after being appointed a faculty member, with a minimum of three concretely designed research plans;
    • Be able to seek domestic and/or international research grants;
    • Possess English-language proficiency and computer literacy;
    • Be ready to work full time for the university;
    • Understand and acknowledge the university’s faculty appraisal system and contractual terms and conditions;
    • Understand, acknowledge and realise the importance of the quality assurance system adopted by the department;
    • Be subject to special consideration if s/he has three or more years’ experience after receiving the degree in a relevant academic or professional field;
    • Have earned minimum undergraduate and graduate GPAs of 3.00 and 3.50, respectively;
    • Have scored a minimum of 79 points on the TOEFL (IBT), 550 points on the TOEFL (ITP), 85 points on the CU-TEP ,6.5 on the IELTS, or achieved 75 MFU-TEP(B2). The English Proficiency Test result should not exceed 2 years from the exam date. More Information : English Score Critiria
    • Possess the general qualifications and have no disqualifying characteristics as prescribed in Article 14 of the Mae Fah Luang University Regulations on Personnel Administration, B.E. 2557 (2014).
    • Have knowledge and understanding of the University’s core values and organizational culture, and demonstrate confidence and commitment to the values of Mae Fah Luang University.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving excellence, with the ability to utilize digital technology to enhance work efficiency, and readiness to adapt to changing situations or future trends.

1. Logistics and Supply Chain Management (School of Management)
 

  • Completion of a doctoral degree in E-Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Have scored a minimum of 79 points on the TOEFL (IBT), 550 points on the TOEFL (ITP), 85 points on the CU-TEP ,6.5 on the IELTS, or achieved 75 MFU-TEP(B2).The English Proficiency Test result should not exceed 2 years from the exam date.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Professional expertise in digital supply chain and/or AI-Machine Learning related to LSCM and/or Import/Export document and/or Logistics service are highly desirable.

Health Science

Lecturer

1. Occupational Health and Safety

  • Graduate with a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, safety engineering, safety management, or a related field involving thesis-based research 
  • Graduate with a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety
  • Good English communication, with English score obtained from one of the following standard tests.

Integrative Medicine

Lecturer

1. Master of Sciences in Health Promotion through Integrative Medicine

  • Graduate with a  Doctoral degree in Health Sciences or related fields in Health promotion or Integrative Medicine and Bachelor’s degree in Health sciences.

  • Work Experience : Has research experience in health science and at least three peer-reviewed academic works not associated with degree completion.

    *** Candidates with clinical or research experience in nutrition, health food products or in developing integrative medical innovations will be given special consideration.

4 Social Innovation Lecturer

1. International Development Program

  1. Graduate with a Doctoral degree in Political Science, International Development, Development Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Development Economics or related fields
  2. Have Published at least 1 paper in any well-recognized academic journals. (The paper must not be a partial fulfillment of any degree) 
  3. General qualifications shall comply with the University’s announcement.
5 Law Lecturer

1. Law

  1. Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Commercial and Business Law, Law relatedto Digital Technologies or other law-related fields.
  2. Graduate with a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Commercial and BusinessLaw, Law related to Digital Technologies or other law-related fields.
  3. General qualifications shall comply with the University’s announcement.

  • 3.1 Application can be done via the MFU Application Form for Lecturer Position (PDF File)
    • Apply and complete the Academic Position Application Form. Choose the position for which you want to apply.

4. Required Application Documents 

  • 4.1. One 1-inch portrait photograph taken no more than 6 months earlier (without a hat or any decorative item and without sunglasses);
  • 4.2. A scanned copy of the degree certificate and academic transcript for every level of education, to verify that the applicant’s degree is relevant to the position applied for;
  • 4.3. A scanned copy of a valid English proficiency test result;
  • 4.4. A scanned copy of the house registration certificate;
  • 4.5. A scanned copy of the national ID card, a civil service card, etc;
  • 4.6. Scanned copies of other documents (if any), such as a marriage certificate, name change certificate, etc; and
  • 4.7. Other related documents, such as academic works, research studies,
  • certificates, etc.
  • Note: The applicant MUST submit all of the required documents; otherwise, the university reserves the right not to consider the application.

5. Selection Procedure

  • Stage One
    The university will consider the applicant’s academic degrees, academic records, relevant experience, academic achievements, research works and how closely the applicant’s field of expertise corresponds to the department’s needs. An applicant with a master’s degree will also be considered in terms of his/her Ph.D. pursuit potential.
  • Stage Two
    The School will conduct a teaching demonstration assessment by convening a committee to evaluate candidates' potential in the following areas:
        - Teaching ability: This includes systematic lesson planning, effective knowledge delivery, and student assessment.
        - Academic competency: Candidates should demonstrate broad knowledge in their respective fields, in-depth expertise in the subjects they will teach, and the potential to excel as scholars.
  • Stage Three
    Candidates who pass Stage two will proceed to a university-level interview. The interview will assess academic knowledge and overall suitability based on various factors, such as attitude, interest, commitment, communication skills, interpersonal relations, and overall personality. Successful candidates will be considered for appointment as university faculty members.

     The university reserves the right to shortlist and interview only the applicants whose qualifications meet the university’s needs.
